Ahmed is a seasoned leader at the intersection of energy, technology, and artificial intelligence. He began his career offshore in the Gulf of Mexico, working in BP’s Completions and Interventions group, where he directed the company’s first decarbonization project leveraging light well intervention systems. After earning his MBA, he broadened his expertise through a period in private equity before fully transitioning into the technology sector.
Ahmed went on to lead the Houston office of C3 AI, deploying large-scale artificial intelligence solutions across multiple industries. Today, he leads Gecko Robotics’ go-to-market and customer success initiatives for the Oil, Gas, and Chemicals sector, helping global and U.S.
operators integrate advanced robotics and data intelligence to achieve safer, more efficient, and more sustainable operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and
his MBA from Harvard Business School.
