Andreas Hoel Gaarder (born 1981) is working as regional Vice President for FutureOn AS. Based out of Dubai, he is driving the new sales and business development activities in the Middle-East and Asia Pacific region focusing on the adoption of digital twin technology for offshore projects.
Prior to joining FutureOn, Andreas held various technical and commercial roles of which the majority has been in the upstream software and consulting space. He started his career with Bredero Shaw in Norway as a pipeline coating coordinator and project manager, after which he worked with well tubing corrosion management for FORCE Technology before he moved into flow assurance consulting with SPT Group and later Schlumberger Software.
Andreas spent about 6 years in the Schlumberger system doing consulting and business development for flow assurance software and services. Andreas has 17 years of techno-commercial experience and holds a “Sivilingenioer” professional engineering degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology where he majored in Energy-, process- and flow engineering (2007) focusing on fluid mechanics.
