Dorzhi Badmaev has a strong background in reservoir engineering, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. He holds degrees in Applied Mathematics and Petroleum Engineering, as well as a recent Certificate in the Chief Data Analytics and AI programme.
Throughout his career, Dorzhi has worked on reservoir engineering and data-driven projects across a wide range of regions, including Russia, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, West and North Africa, and the North Sea.
Currently, he is part of the Thamama Excellence Center, where he leads the development and deployment of artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives focused on reservoir management. His work combines subsurface expertise with advanced analytics to support more effective decision-making and operational performance.
