Dr. Ratna Bachu is a strategic AI/ML Engineering and Data Science leader at BPX, driving the development of enterprise-scale AI solutions that tackle complex data systems & business challenges across upstream operations. With a Ph.D. and over a decade of experience in AI, machine learning, and big data, she specializes in RAG, AI Agents, Guardrails, and Governance & Compliance frameworks.
Previously, she led cross-functional AI initiatives for global organizations including DBS Bank and StarHub, delivering scalable data science and Generative AI platforms. A recognized thought leader, Dr. Bachu continues to advance applied AI innovation through research on large multimodal and multi-agent systems. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga and playing the violin.
