Izwan Adnan is an experienced upstream E&P professional with more than 20 years of international experience across reservoir engineering, field development, and upstream advisory. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University.
As a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Dragon Oil, Izwan supports subsurface appraisal, field development, and operational activities across the company’s assets in the Caspian Sea. His work focuses on maximising asset value through effective reservoir management and development planning.
Beyond his technical responsibilities, Izwan is actively involved in industry leadership, serving as Chair of SPE Northern Emirates and Vice President of the Malaysian Business Council UAE, where he promotes professional collaboration and cross-border engagement within the energy sector.
