Omar Al Bahdoor is a Process Control Engineer at OQ Base Industries (OQBI), with experience in advanced process control, process optimization, alarm management, controller performance and industrial digitalization across petrochemical and energy operations. He has worked on the implementation and optimization of APC solutions using Honeywell and AVEVA technologies, alongside initiatives focused on operational excellence, process performance and data-driven decision-making. Omar holds professional training and certifications in Advanced Process Control, AptiTune PID tuning, PHA/HAZOP leadership and Process Control Techniques from Newcastle University. His interests focus on bridging process-control expertise with emerging AI and digital technologies to enable safer, more efficient and increasingly autonomous industrial operations.
