Renner has spent 20 years in technology sector, starting with telecoms at Verizon and moving into network engineering roles in SF Bay Area startups. In 2008, he transitioned to the energy industry, delivering private communication networks for electric utilities and unconventional oil & gas companies across the US. His work in technical sales and consulting roles with ABB Group took him from shale fields in North America to fabrication yards in Korea, deepening his involvement in the energy sector. A slight pivot to the world of aerial surveys, inspections, and visual data brought exposure to offshore operations while leading sales at Cyberhawk. Since early 2022, Renner has been working with FutureOn’s customers to innovate subsea project workflows. As CCO, he leads sales, marketing, customer success and professional services.
