Sumeet Trehan is the AI/ML Principal in ExxonMobil Technology Company and a key advisor for modeling and data science in ExxonMobil’s Global Operations & Sustainability. At ExxonMobil, he leads the development of user focused AI/ML applications that create business value by improving key business outcomes at scale, such as reducing downtime and increasing production. Over the past five years, he has led several cross-functional AI/ML initiatives across maintenance and reliability, drilling and seismic domains, aligning executive leadership through value-driven messaging. Passionate about AI in science and energy, Sumeet holds a PhD in Applied AI from Stanford and is a Stanford Business School Ignite graduate.
