Travis Thomas VP – Digital Completion Solutions at NOV has more than a decade of well intervention experience starting his career with Halliburton as a Technical Professional in Coiled Tubing in Kilgore, Texas before moving into operations and technical management roles with Halliburton, Superior Energy, and Nine Energy Service. His roles required a technical expertise in all the US shale basins and included extensive experience in offshore Gulf of Mexico deep water projects. He brings a fresh perspective to the industry as a result of his experience managing engineering groups, technical sales, and day-to-day operations in industry leading coiled tubing service companies before joining NOV. Travis was also a routine user of NOV’s intervention monitoring and modeling products in prior roles, and now with NOV, he is focused on bringing real-time data visualization and efficiency analysis to global completion operations.
